Miniature Poodle
There are three varieties of the Poodle. From miniature and standard to toy breeds, they are all slightly different. They come in various colours and types. From black and silver colours to grey and white, their sizes all differ too. The miniature Poodle can be shaved and balls of fur can be left on parts of the body. The tail is set high and docked too. The eyes are black or brown. The head and neck is long.

These dogs are easily trained. Miniature poodles make great companion dogs. They learn obedience very well and tend to be cautious with people that are unfamiliar to it. They also bark a lot. They are very friendly and sweet dogs and are gentle and tend to get on well with most other animals. They are also extremely elegant dogs. Very good with youngsters, they make wonderful pets and are great watchdogs too. |
Health issues : |
These dogs may be prone to ear infections and skin conditions are also not uncommon. Heart disorders and digestive problems may be issues also. |
Exercise : |
They are generally very active dogs that appreciate a good, long walk. Runs in the park are also good for them. Toys are not too demanding regarding exercise but it is important for them to exercise regularly in order to keep them fit and healthy. |
Life expectancy : |
They tend to live up to the age of around fifteen years. |
Grooming : |
Grooming them is quite a task. They must be bathed regularly and cleaned meticulously. |
